Terse Verse is an anthology published in 1999, although most of it dates from the time of the Words Collective, the world-renowned 'Widnes Poets' of the 1970s. All out of print now, I'm afraid, unless I'm ever persuaded to go rooting around in old boxes and cupboards. I might put some of the old anthologies online if I have an idle moment. But then again . . .

'Mayhap we shall meet in the dawn of your sorrow'

Santa Claus socialism

Seeing the light

The Man and the Woman

Paris '73 (for Helen)

We call them subnormal: what do they call us?

The race

Going home on corporation buses

The pain that cannot heal
